Where is YxYA?

YxYA will be held at our Wellington location, the ARISE Centre – 3 Pito-One Road, Petone.

What age group is this for?

This conference is for our teenagers (13 to 18 years old or year 9 to 13 at high school) and for our young adults.

How can I get there?

Our venue is easily accessible off the SH2 motorway. If you are driving, be aware that we share our carpark with Metlink trains so we cannot guarantee availability. Please come early on Friday to secure a free park. Alternatively should you require transportation, the train service stops across the road at Petone station.

Will there be food and drink provided?

We will be providing free filter coffee at our venue in the mornings, as well as a selection of awesome food trucks for lunch and dinner times that you will be able to purchase food from. We would love it if you could organise your own breakfast.

Can I come if I am not from ARISE Church?

This conference is primarily for the youth and young adults of ARISE Church. However, if you would like to come, we would love to have you join us!

What does my registration include?

Your registration fee of $30 covers access to all main sessions, the appropriate age bracket breakouts, and the afternoon activities for your age group. You will need to sort your own accomodation and transport for the weekend – for our out of town ARISE teenagers we have some limited options available, please chat with your local youth pastor.

Who is responsible for my child during the day?

If your child is under 18, they will be under the care of our youth leaders and parents team whilst at the conference venue. They will not be able to leave the venue during main session times. If they choose to leave the conference venue outside of main sessions times and they have not arrived on our official ARISE Youth transport, then they are leaving our care and are their parent/caregivers responsibility. If they have caught our official transport, they will not be able to leave the care of our youth team without written parental consent.
